  • ATTRACTIONS & HIGHLIGHTS:
    The Gandan Monastery is the biggest and main Monasteryin Mongolia and absolutely the significant one of most interesting destination. It is built in the mid 19th century and has currently been over 150 monks and pupils in the temple. There is a 26 meter high statue called Migjid Janraisig Temple that is an important part of Gandan Monastery. 
    National Museum of Mongolian History represents Mongolian history and culture from prehistoric periods to the present day. Exhibitions cover prehistory of stone age, Turkic Khanate, Hun, Xiongu, pre-Mongol Empire history, Great Mongol Empire, ethnography and traditional life, and 12th century history. The ethnographic collection shows ten different costums of Mongolian ethic groups. 
    Genghis Khan's Square & Parliament House -  locates in the center of the city surrounding by theaters, government buildings, offices, shoppings and banks. There is also a bronze statue of Sükhbaatar who is the hero of the revolution. 
     
    Folklore performance by Tumen Ekh ensemble - Mongolia’s first traditional performance crew features folk song, traditional music, dance and contortion.
