Traditional Food

 Mongolian Traditional food is diverse, but there commonly appears a lot of meat on the table. Interestingly, it is related with our high raised amount of five mouth lively stocks by agriculture development in countryside.

Here are some sorts of food as follows:


 Soup, it has various types such as a soup with slice noodle and meat, the meat can be either beef or mutton, and a soup with rice and vegetables, in other hand  soup mixes by boiled dumplings with milk and green tea. The soup is eaten by often old aged people. It gets fatigue away.


The most common meal is steamed noodle with a lot of meat and less vegetables. It is so delicious and has much portion. Generally men prefer to have the steamed noodle in order to get full their stomach for long day.


There are four types of dumplings and different sizes such as baked dumpling, steamed dumpling, boiled dumpling and fried dumpling.

Mongolian Barbecue

The most favorite dish is barbecue. The barbecue is made by mutton or lamp. It is only eaten by particular events or holidays such as Naadam Festival or Indepence day etc…

We welcome you to our widely celebrated festival in summer time. The Naadam held in 11 th of July. And There is opening ceremony amazingly held in the National Stadium where you can explore Mongolian traditional dance, songs and history at same time with short length in aday.
